It’s that time of year when students are given opportunities in earning some senior hours (10) toward graduation or hours toward their community service seal (50).
Volunteering can provide a healthy boost to your self-confidence, self-esteem, and life satisfaction. You are doing good for others and the community, which provides a natural sense of accomplishment. Your role as a volunteer can also give you a sense of pride and identity.
The Barberton Schools PTA is hosting Holiday Bazaar on November 19, 2022, in the BHS commons. They need volunteers to help vendors unload and load their cars. Please email Mr. Tony Rett to sign-up: tony.rett@gmail.com
Students also have the opportunity to get between 2-6 hours at the Christmas walk here in Barberton on November 26th from 11 AM to 8 PM.
Some past volunteer opportunities include the labor day BBQ, Mums festival, Learning under the Lights, senior leaf raking, and events located at the White Rabbit gallery and Barberton Public Library.
