On November 17th, 2022, A Christmas Story Christmas comes out on HBO Max. It is a sequel to the original A Christmas Story which came out in 1983 which follows a young Ralphie who spends his days hoping for an air rifle for Christmas.Â
The sequel follows now-adult Ralphie as he comes back home for Christmas to give his kids the same amazing holiday experience he had. He reunites with his childhood friends and they show the children the fun they used to have back in their days. Ralphie has to come to terms with his father’s death along the way.
Peter Billingsley reprises his role as Ralphie with a narrator as Ralphie’s conscience talking him through every life obstacle he encounters. This will be the perfect holiday movie for the whole family. It looks like a wonderful watch and will bring back so many memories from the first movie.Â
