Red Ribbon Week

It’s coming up! Join BHS in celebrating a drug-free lifestyle during the 4th week of October.

Red Ribbon week is an event hosted by the Drug-Free Clubs of America (DFCA). Drug-Free Clubs of America stands for many things anti-drugs. They spread awareness, prevent the usage of drugs in students, and teach students about the dangerous effects of drugs. Drug-Free Clubs is open to anyone who is still looking to join. Guidance Counselor Amhee Heim adds, “You can still join Drug-Free Clubs of America… See Ms. Heim or Mr. Laterullo for more information on this.”

Another way to show your drug-free lifestyle is by participating in spirit week from Monday, October 24th to Monday, October 31st. Each day has a different theme that every student at BHS can participate in. Along with spirit week, there is also a door-decorating contest for teachers. Come and dress up and celebrate being drug-free!
