Magic’s Exciting Win Streak

This year took an unexpected turn kicking off the season with a big loss for our Magics football team.

“At the beginning of the season we were extremely hyped and ready, but after the first game we were set back and realized we needed to rethink strategies,” said senior Asim Lateef. This setback allowed some athletes to create goals for the season. Asim states that his goal is to reach 100 tackles, while Roosevelt Andrews’ goal is to break the sack record. Soon enough they were back in the game climbing the charts in the Suburban League.

According to Coach Snyder, “The Magics are currently 6 and 1 in the Suburban League for both National and American”. Coach Snyder also felt that they have been doing great lately. He went on to say that “If The Magics win the upcoming game against Tallmadge, the team will be 2nd in the Suburban League,” Student athlete Elijah McDougall adds “It will be a close game.”

So bring your purple pride and get ready to cheer on our team as they kick it off into the playoffs. Don’t forget the theme for this Friday’s senior night is blackout.
