The Barberton band is getting ready to start its ’22-’23 Pep Band season. They start rehearsals on the 5th of December and span all the way till January 27th (Including all rehearsals and games). The band has a great playlist lined up, including songs like; Sweet Caroline, Land of 1,000 Dances, Viva la Vida, Crazy Train, Seven Nation Army, and so much more.

Pep Band has added some flair to the home Basketball games with the music they play.
“There is a lot of personality in the music. I should say differences thought.” According to Elizabeth Scott a tenth-grader at BHS. “They aren’t all the same genre or boring songs, they are all out there. They always had a broad music range.”
I asked Mr. Muren what his opinions on the season were, this is what he had to say, ” I love the music. I always have high hopes for the pep band. I am sure we will do great.”
Here it is folks, the start of another glorious season for the Pep Band. Come listen to them play at the first varsity home Basketball game on Tuesday, December 13th. The band hopes to see you there!!
