With the cold coming on, how will you stay warm at BHS?
Every winter, the air turns colder and the snow starts falling. An Ohio winter can get extremely cold, and so can the school. Most people seem to notice the temperature changes with each classroom. Here are some ways to stay warm in these cold times.
One way to stay warm is to wear a hat. Most of your body heat escapes through your head so wearing a hat in the cold is very important. This year it is allowed by the school, but not by all teachers. Wearing a hat is a great way to keep yourself warm, only if you comply with each teacher’s rules.
Another way to stay warm is to layer up! Layering long sleeves under your shirts or sweaters is a great way to keep your heat in and the cold out! You can also bring a sweater or jacket that can be taken off or put on depending on the class you’re in. Layering isn’t confined to your shirts though, you can also layer pants! Wearing a pair of leggings under your pants is a great way to stay warm.
The last tip I have for staying warm is doubling up on socks or wearing a thicker pair. If your socks are thin, then you should double up, or you could wear thick or fluffy socks. Make sure you also wear appropriate shoes when it snows!
These are just a few of the many ways to stay warm in the winter. You can always look on Pinterest, Instagram, or TikTok for outfit inspiration if you don’t know how to style clothes in a warm way. Remember to be safe and dress warm!
