Hi! My name is Kennedy! I am a sophomore this year at BHS. I am involved in Magic Singers, The BHS Drama Department, TV/Studio, and Drug Free Clubs of America at the high school. Outside of school, I've been in a musical at North Canton Playhouse, and plan to do more shows there. My hobbies are reading, open mic at Kave, film studies, film production, and hanging out with my friends. I am also a part of Boyband with some of the other Magician writers. I am currently studying acting with Jamie Koeth and plan to act on screen and stage as a career. I am very excited to be a writer in the Magician and plan to give you great articles!

Hi my name is Lily Tyler. I am a sophomore here at BHS in which I participated in both cross country and track. I enjoy hanging out with friends and family while also making time to volunteer in the community. I am a part of the military youth program as well as an art club. This is my first year writing for the paper and I am so excited to be a part of this.

Hello! My name is Catie Votaw, I am a Senior this year. I have been involved in the BHS Musical Department, Magic Singers, and National Honors Society for the past four years. I help student direct the Middle School Musical, volunteer at my church, and also voulnteer with the Barberton Sparkles Cheer Team. I am a four year member and the President of World Language Club. Some of my hobbies include reading, writing, lots of singing, acting and performing with my band boyband. In the future I plan to attend Baldwin Wallace for Music Therapy with a minor in theatre, I would love to perform for a living! I’m super excited to be a part of this and look forward to writing articles for you guys!

Hi! My name is Jacqueline Gouamba, and I am a freshman. I haven't been involved in many extracurricular activities lately, but I recently joined “The Magician”. In my spare time, I play guitar, read books, and listen to music. I really like art., Iit doesn't matter what kind, I just love it. I like to write, poems mostly. I also collect vinyls, so far I have at least fifty. I spend most of my weekends with my friends. We usually end up going to church together. I have a cat named Apollo, he is my best friend, and he’s grey like the moon. Being in high school can be intimidating at times but I really like it so far. I feel good about this year, and I am excited to see what awaits me.

My name is Hannah Swanson and I am a Sophomore at Barberton High School. In school, I participate in Academic Challenge, World Language Club, concert band, and run cross country and track and field. In my free time I like to hike and run on trails around northeast Ohio! I love playing the piano, listening to music, and reading a variety of books.

Hey there! I'm Lauren Wyatt, and I'm a sophomore this year. I really like to get involved here at BHS, so some of the things I do include playing for the Girls Soccer Team, as well as being a part of Ski Club, Choir, and the BHS Musical Department. Some of my hobbies include binge-watching Marvel movies/shows and reading! After I graduate, I plan on going to college for a major in acting.
