Friday is Senior Night!
On Friday, October 21, 2022, show your pride by wearing all black. It is a tradition at Barberton High School for blackout night to be Senior Night. The Senior Night game will be hosted at Barberton against Tallmadge. The varsity team is on a roll this year overcoming obstacles and strong opponents. The team’s record is 6-3 and has the momentum to beat Tallmadge.
Coach Gotto has a message about the team this year, “The 2022 Magics Football team has battled through some adversity this year. Early in the season losing to some good teams! The team has definitely responded to the early diversity and set goals to get better every day! It has been paying off! The 12 seniors that have held strong and made it through their senior season are a dynamic group with so many great backstories that shape them into the young men they have become. We are all so proud of them all and hope to finish this season strong with a big run in the playoffs that will make our school and community proud!!! Go Magics!” The roster of seniors that you’ll see on the field this Friday is composed of: Rylan Angeloff, Dominic Cart, Avery Macken, Nate Booker, Christian Shafer, Jaxon Parsons, Asim Lateef, Deangelo Mcneal, Roosevelt Andrews, Corey Gibson, Jaekell Springer, Trent Doerfler.
